Vehicle choice is one of the biggest differences between a comfortable Xinjiang trip and a tiring one. The daily driving distance, luggage, number of guests and winter road conditions all affect the correct vehicle.
Private car versus small group
A private vehicle is arranged for your own group. Some listed routes are small join-in groups using a shared 1+1 vehicle. Check the written quotation before assuming that every tour is a private charter.
Driver service and guide service
The local driver handles the vehicle, route and practical stops. A licensed guide is a separate service unless the itinerary explicitly includes one. English planning support does not automatically mean an English-speaking guide travels with you.
Winter vehicle requirements
Snow, ice and mountain controls may require a specific vehicle or change the daily order. Do not promise a fixed model before the route and date are confirmed. Safety and legal operating requirements come first.
What to send before booking
- Number of adults and children.
- Large luggage and stroller count.
- Mobility or child-seat requirements.
- Preferred pace and maximum daily driving time.
- Whether a guide is required.

Does the price include a private car?
Listed routes normally use a licensed small-group or private vehicle according to the itinerary. Vehicle size, luggage and group numbers are confirmed in the written quotation.
Is the driver also a guide?
Most listed products include driver service. A licensed English-speaking guide should be requested separately if needed.
Can we choose a 7-seat or 4WD vehicle?
Vehicle availability depends on the route and guest count. Winter mountain roads may require specific vehicle types.
What happens when snow closes a road?
The order may change for safety. Extra costs caused by road closure, weather or events outside the operator's control are usually not included unless stated.
